Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation, amendment, and refund terms for Shorta Tours Sri Lanka bookings.
1. Overview
We understand plans change. This policy explains what happens if you cancel or amend a confirmed booking with Shorta Tours Sri Lanka.
2. Before Travel
More than 30 days before start date: deposit may be refunded minus any non-recoverable supplier costs. 15–30 days: up to 50% of total tour price may be charged. Less than 15 days: up to 100% may be charged depending on hotels and vehicles already secured.
3. Amendments
Date changes are subject to availability and may incur supplier amendment fees. One free date change is often possible if requested more than 21 days before travel — we will confirm in writing.
4. No-Shows
If you do not arrive for a scheduled transfer or activity without prior notice, that service may be charged in full and cannot be rescheduled.
5. Force Majeure
Events beyond reasonable control — natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemic restrictions, or government travel bans — may require itinerary changes. We will offer alternatives or credit where suppliers permit refunds.
6. How to Cancel
Send a written cancellation request by email to hello@shortatourssrilanka.com with your booking reference. Refunds, if applicable, are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
